Quickstep Arte is a range of stylish, large laminate tiles with subtle V-grooves. They combine the charm and durability of an original floor, but with the practical benefits of laminate. This range also possesses Scratch Guard technology, which provides up to ten times more scratch-resistance than your average laminate floor. In addition, Quickstep floors are a breeze when it comes to installation, thanks to the patented Uniclic click system. It allows you to quickly and easily install your floor without damaging the planks. In fact, the click system is so strong and durable; you can even take your floor up and re-fit it elsewhere.

This Versailles tile, cleverly creates the appearance of an artistically laid, basket weave, wooden floor, but with the easy fitting of a laminate tile. These Laminate tiles have the warmth and texture of a real wood floor, creating an authentic finish and feel.

How To Fit & Maintain Your Laminate Floor:

Prep Work
It is vital to allow your laminate floor to acclimatise for at least a period of 24 hours before fitting. You should also check the condition of your subfloor, ensuring that it is level and free of any dirt or debris.

Underlay
Your choice of underlay will vary depending on your subfloor. For example, it is vital to use an underlay with a damp proof membrane (DPM), if you’re fitting your floor over concrete. However, if you’re fitting over floorboards, it is not necessary to use a DPM based underlay.

Although Laminate flooring is fully compatible with under floor heating, you must ensure that the underlay is also compatible, i.e. it can distribute heat evenly across the floor (fit for purpose).

Fitting
Once you’ve positioned your underlay, Laminate boards can be laid from any edge of the room. Be sure to use expansion spacers as you go along, maintaining at least a 10mm gap between the Laminate and the wall.

Remember, all of our Laminates have simple locking systems, which are incredibly easy to use. Every plank will fit together like jigsaw pieces, creating a resilient, tight bond across each and every board.
