The 18mm MDF bead is sold in 2.4m lengths to cover the edge gap on a newly laid floor.

Colour guide

Many oak floors fall between pale and dark, and this is the bead for them. It suits golden and mid-brown oak-effect laminate, lacquered engineered oak and classic solid oak in hallways, living rooms and bedrooms. If you are unsure whether your floor is light or dark, start by comparing it with this one.

Fitting and use

Use it with laminate, engineered wood or solid wood. Fix it to the skirting with nails and a small amount of adhesive such as Gripfill, so the floor underneath can still move freely.
