It is an 18mm thick MDF bead in 2.4m lengths.

Why this shade

Natural oiled and clear lacquered oak floors, and oak-effect laminate in a true natural colour, match well with this bead. It gives a soft, low-key edge that neither darkens nor brightens the room. It is a good all-round option if you plan to keep the natural look throughout the house.

Fixing it

It suits laminate, engineered wood and solid wood floors. We usually recommend nailing it to the skirting, together with a little Gripfill or similar adhesive. This covers the expansion gap without pinning the floor down.
