It is a safe, versatile colour for any room: it works with white kitchens, grey sofas, oak furniture and patterned rugs alike, and it will not date quickly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eConstruction and specification\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is a 14\/3mm engineered board: 14mm from face to underside, of which the upper 3mm is real oak. A multi-ply core does the structural work, keeping movement low when the room warms up or cools down. When it needs renewing, a 3mm top layer can be lightly sanded and refinished. Planks measure 190mm wide by 1900mm long, and each pack covers 2.888 m². With a bevel on the long edges only (2V), the floor has clear lengthwise lines and quieter end joints. Being lacquered, the surface is sealed and low-maintenance: sweep, then clean with a damp, well-wrung mop.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eWhere it works\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou can run it from the hallway into living and dining rooms, and use it in bedrooms, kitchens and conservatories too.
