Laid in a herringbone, the grain changes direction with every block, so the floor has movement and a sense of depth. The textured and embossed surface adds grain underfoot, and bevels outline each block. It suits Georgian and Victorian homes, and pairs well with heritage paint colours, panelled walls, brass fittings and dark wood furniture.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eConstruction and specification\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeing 12mm thick, each block gives a reassuring, solid step and a calmer sound underfoot compared with thinner laminate.
