It is a fleece-backed natural rubber that keeps laminate and engineered wood floors steady and quieter, supplied in packs of 10 m².

Why rubber

Rubber underlay is firmer and more stable than a basic foam. It limits movement in a floating floor, so joints are under less strain and the floor wears more slowly. It also soaks up impact and internal noise, and can take out minor imperfections in the subfloor.
