It suits period homes, dining rooms and snugs, and pairs well with cream or white walls, rich reds and greens, and brass or copper fittings.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch2\u003eConstruction and specification\u003c\/h2\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeing 12mm thick, each plank gives a reassuring, solid step and a calmer sound underfoot compared with thinner laminate. The 4V bevel on every edge makes each plank stand out slightly from its neighbours, which adds realism. One pack covers 1.929 m². The AC4 rating means the surface is tested for heavy domestic traffic and general commercial use, so it copes well with hallways and family rooms.
