Where is the floor going to be fitted?
Some floors are better suited to certain environments and conditions around the house. Every room in your home is used for a different purpose, so you wouldn’t fit the same type of floor in your bathroom as you would in your living room. It is therefore very important to check the suitability of the floor you’re after, before making your purchase.
It’s impossible to know the price of your new flooring without knowing how much of it you really need. Although taking measurements can be simple, some of us don’t know where to start, especially if your room is an awkward shape or size. We have therefore created a simple guidance in order to assist you with your measurements.
Most confident DIYers can install a majority of our floors. However some are more complex than others, and we only recommend the DIY approach if you are certain that you can follow all steps accurately.
Some floors are easier to fit than others. Laminates and Luxury Vinyl are relatively straightforward to install, however Solid Wood, Engineered and in particular Parquet & Herringbone floors can be far more complicated. We always recommend that if you are not feeling confident to book one of our Expert Flooring Fitters to fit your floor.
