During the checkout process, you will be given the option to choose your delivery date, which are usually available from 3 working days after the date of your order. Your delivery date will then be confirmed via email, so please ensure that you provide correct contact details so we can keep you updated on your order.
All deliveries are subject to stock availability, and therefore, please note that on occasions we may not be able to deliver on your specified date, however we will always contact you to let you know if there are any delays.
Your flooring will be delivered to the kerbside of the delivery address, as delivery drivers are not permitted to move products to the property, gardens, garages, driveways etc. unless we have agreed this in writing. As the products can be heavy, we recommend you have someone to help you move the products inside your property, or to the place where you wish to store them.
Deliveries are usually made Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. The products will not be delivered unless they are signed for by you or someone you nominate to accept delivery for you. Someone over the age of 18 must sign for the delivery.
Deliveries can be made to you in a van, rigid lorry or articulated lorry. For this reason, it is important to let us know if your property is difficult to access (e.g. if you live in a narrow road or a gated community), so that we can make appropriate arrangements. We appreciate any details you can provide us with, in order to ensure the delivery process runs smoothly. You can do this either by calling us, emailing us or writing a note at the checkout.
You can collect your flooring or accessories directly from our store. These will usually be available for collection within 3 working days and you will receive an email to let you know that your products have arrived. Please note, we will only be able to store these products for a maximum of 10 days.
What if I miss my delivery?
If there is no one at the property at time of arrival then the products will be returned to us. You can then either arrange to collect these from our store, or you can arrange a new delivery date which will be subject to an additional delivery charge of £45.
Flooring Surgeons will not leave your flooring with a neighbour, unless this has otherwise been requested in advance either by phone, email or on notes at the checkout.
Due to the size and value of the product being delivered, Flooring Surgeons will not leave your flooring delivery outside of your property (e.g. in a porch area). All deliveries must be signed for.
What if I have an issue with my product?
Flooring Surgeons always endeavor to provide you with the highest quality products on the market, however in the unlikely event that you do have an issue with your product, please let us know.
When you receive your delivery, it is important you check the package and if there are any signs of immediate damage or items missing, please firstly notify your delivery driver so a note can be made on your paper work. You can then either give us a call or drop us an email at email@example.com to let us know about the issue (photos are always helpful too). In addition, if you notice any issues with your products later down the line, please contact us in the same way. We will always do our best to rectify any issues you have with your product and will deal with it as quickly as possible by either replacing or refunding faulty items.
