Patterns at a glance

  • Herringbone: rectangular blocks laid in a broken zigzag, where each block's end meets the side of the next.
  • Chevron: blocks cut at an angle so the ends meet in a clean, continuous V.
  • Versailles: large square panels with a classic interlaced pattern.
  • Straight plank: the timeless choice – wider boards make a room feel calmer, narrower boards more traditional.
