Floor types

Floors we supply and fit in Halesowen

All five types can be ordered as free samples, and all five can be fitted by our team.

  • Engineered wood flooring in Halesowen

Engineered oak is what we know best. Ask about unfinished boards, sealed with oil or lacquer after laying, and our prime-grade oak – the most uniform, least knotty grade.
    • Real oak top layer
    • Suits underfloor heating
    Shop engineered wood

  • Laminate flooring in Halesowen

Laminate works on hallways, landings and stairs, and the AC5 grades are made for the heaviest foot traffic in the house.
    • AC4 and AC5 ratings
    • Scratch-resistant
    Shop laminate

  • Solid wood flooring in Halesowen

A solid oak floor can be sanded back many times – see how often you can sand a wood floor. It wants a dry, stable base, and we'll say so if engineered would suit your room better.
    • Solid timber
    • Can be re-sanded
    Shop solid wood

  • Herringbone, parquet & chevron in Halesowen

Blocks laid in a zigzag or a V turn a plain room into a feature. Compare parquet & herringbone with chevron, or read about 7 parquet patterns.
    • Herringbone
    • Chevron

  • Luxury vinyl (LVT) flooring in Halesowen

For kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms, waterproof LVT is hard to beat. Glue-down LVT gives the firmest, flattest finish on a well-prepared floor.
    • Water-resistant

Visiting the showroom in Halesowen

We're mainly an online retailer, but some people like to stand on a floor before choosing it – and in Halesowen you can. The showroom is at 214A Dudley Road, B63 3NJ, open Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm; we're closed on Sundays. Please call 0121 274 8575 before you set off, so we can make sure someone is free to talk floors with you.

Bring a photo of the room, rough measurements and, if you can, a cupboard door or paint card: colour reads differently next to your own finishes. Can't make it in? Order free samples and compare them at home instead.

Flooring fitters in Halesowen: supply and fit

Halesowen is on our doorstep and well inside our West Midlands fitting area. With 30+ years in the trade, the team prepares the floor properly first – levelling, anhydrite or cement screeds, underfloor heating, rooms that are half timber and half concrete – then lays it floating or glued, and finishes with skirting and architraves. Would you rather choose at home? A free home consultation brings large samples to you; we measure and quote. More on our fitting service and on what to do if a subfloor is damaged.

Ordering online? We deliver to B62 and B63, and our Dudley and Stourbridge pages cover the rest of the borough.
