Description

Our Brown Oak scotia beading is an oak-effect MDF trim in a straightforward mid-brown. It hides the gap left for expansion at the edge of the room, and each 2.4m length is 18mm thick.

Which floors it suits

Pick this shade for classic brown oak floors: warm, everyday oak tones that are neither pale nor very dark. It suits many brown laminate floors as well as oiled or lacquered engineered and solid oak. When a bead matches the floor, the eye reads the floor as running right up to the skirting.

How to fit it

It can be used with laminate, solid wood and engineered wood. Nail it into the skirting board and add a little grab adhesive, such as Gripfill, for a lasting bond. Fixing to the skirting rather than the floor leaves the floor free to move. Measure the full perimeter of the room and allow extra for corners. Other colours are in our scotia range.
