Description

Dark Grey Oak scotia is a deep, cool grey bead for floors on the darker end of the grey scale. Made from MDF, it is 18mm thick and comes in 2.4m lengths to trim the perimeter of the room.

Tone and matching

It is aimed at charcoal, slate and smoky grey floors, including grey oak-effect laminate and grey-stained engineered boards. A dark grey bead avoids the bright outline you would get from a pale trim, and it sits comfortably with grey, anthracite or black skirting in contemporary rooms.

Why scotia, and fitting

Wood and laminate floors are laid with a small expansion gap at every wall. This bead covers that gap on laminate, engineered wood and solid wood floors. Fix it to the skirting with nails plus a small amount of Gripfill or similar adhesive. Browse the full scotia beading range for lighter greys.

Premium Flooring Warranty

Buy with confidence. Every floor we supply is backed by a product warranty for added peace of mind. Depending on the product, you’ll receive cover against qualifying manufacturing defects for up to 35 years.
