Description

Grey Oak is our middle grey scotia: not pale, not charcoal. It is an oak-effect MDF trim, 18mm thick and 2.4m long, that closes off the gap between floor and skirting.

Where the colour fits

Use it with grey-washed and weathered grey floors, where the boards show a clear grey tone without being very dark. It suits Scandinavian and modern schemes with white or light grey walls. If your floor mixes grey with some warmth, bring a length or an offcut next to a floor sample before ordering the whole room.

Fitting notes

It works with laminate, engineered wood and solid wood. Pin it to the skirting board, not the floor, and use a little grab adhesive such as Gripfill as well. For lighter and darker greys, see our scotia beading, and for more trims visit flooring accessories.

Premium Flooring Warranty

Buy with confidence. Every floor we supply is backed by a product warranty for added peace of mind. Depending on the product, you’ll receive cover against qualifying manufacturing defects for up to 35 years.

  • Up to 35 Years’ Warranty
  • Protection Against Manufacturing Defects
