Description

Gold Timbermate is a 3mm heavy duty underlay made from fleece-backed natural rubber. It is designed for busy floors, absorbing impact and noise while giving laminate and wood flooring a stable base. Each pack covers 10 m².

How it performs

Natural rubber is dense and stable, so it helps stop a floating floor moving underfoot, which reduces wear over time. It absorbs impact and internal noise for a quieter home, and it can level minor imperfections in the subfloor. A silver vapour barrier film helps keep moisture away from your flooring.

Where to use it

It is commonly chosen for commercial spaces and high traffic areas, and it works downstairs or upstairs. It is listed for laminate, engineered wood and solid wood with click fitting, over wood or concrete subfloors.

Underfloor heating

This underlay is not recommended over underfloor heating. If you have a heated floor, see our other flooring underlay options or call us on 0121 274 8575 for advice.

Ordering

Measure the room, add about 10% for cuts and waste, and divide by 10 m² per pack. Pair it with laminate flooring or engineered wood.

Installation Guide

We offer fast and reliable delivery across mainland England, Wales and selected areas of Scotland – free to mainland England on orders over £500.

All orders are delivered via pallet to the nearest accessible point at your property (e.g. driveway or pavement). Drivers are unable to carry items inside, so please ensure someone is available to receive and check the order on arrival.

Returns: unopened packs in resaleable condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
