Description

Mapei Ultrabond is a wood flooring adhesive supplied in a 15kg tub. It is a one-component, solvent-free adhesive based on silylated polymer, with a very low level of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions.

What it is

One-component means there is nothing to mix: the adhesive is ready to use from the tub. Being solvent-free with very low VOC emissions, it is a good fit for work inside occupied homes, where a strong solvent smell is unwelcome.

What it works with

It is listed for bonding solid wood flooring to the subfloor. If you are planning a glue-down floor and are unsure whether this adhesive suits your boards or your subfloor, call us on 0121 274 8575 before you order and we will check it for you.

How to use it

Always follow the instructions printed on the tub for subfloor preparation, spreading and working times, as these depend on the site and the floor being laid. Order enough for the full area in one go so the job is not held up halfway. You will find trims, underlays and care products for your floor in our flooring accessories.

Premium Flooring Warranty

Buy with confidence. Every floor we supply is backed by a product warranty for added peace of mind. Depending on the product, you’ll receive cover against qualifying manufacturing defects for up to 35 years.

  • Up to 35 Years’ Warranty
  • Protection Against Manufacturing Defects
  • Clear & Transparent Warranty Terms
