Description

This solid oak ramp threshold is a 0.9m door strip for doorways where two floors meet at different heights. It forms a smooth slope from one surface to the other, so there is no raised edge to catch a foot.

Where to use it

Use it to link wood to wood, wood to tile or wood to carpet when the two floors are not level. It is common in doorways between a wood floor and a tiled kitchen or bathroom, or between a hallway and a carpeted room. It is listed for laminate, engineered wood, luxury vinyl (LVT) and solid wood.

How to fit it

  1. Cut the strip to the width of the doorway.
  2. Screw the fixing channel to the subfloor using the fixings supplied, or bond it with a suitable adhesive.
  3. Gently tap the oak profile down into the channel.
