Description

The solid oak semi ramp is a 0.9m threshold strip for stepping down from a wood floor to a lower surface. It covers the join in the doorway and forms a short ramp so the change in level is easy to walk over.

What it is for

It is designed to finish the edge of a solid wood or engineered wood floor where it meets carpet or laminate in the next room. The oak half sits on the wood side, and the profile slopes down to the neighbouring floor. The spec lists it for laminate, engineered wood, LVT and solid wood floors.

Fitting in three steps

Start by cutting it to the doorway width. Fix the channel to the subfloor, either with the screws supplied or a suitable adhesive, then tap the profile gently into place. The clip-in channel keeps fitting quick and leaves a clean line with no trip edge.
