Arctic Oak Click LVT

Arctic Oak brings a crisp, white oak effect to a wide 182mm vinyl plank. The long 1220mm boards give a calm, airy floor, and the waterproof Hydro Pro click build means you can use the same colour in the kitchen, the bathroom and the living areas.

Look and character

Where the herringbone version of Arctic Oak breaks the colour into a pattern, the plank lets it run in long, unbroken lines. The white tone sits over a light oak grain, which keeps the surface from looking flat, so a small room feels wider and a large one feels open. The textured and embossed finish gives the grain some depth you can feel, and a 4V bevel on each edge marks out the planks so the floor still reads as boards rather than a sheet. Pair it with white walls, light grey units and brushed steel or chrome.

Construction and specification

Arctic Oak is 6mm thick overall, with a 0.3mm wear layer on top. The wear layer is the clear, protective film over the printed design, and it is the part that takes the scuffs from shoes, chair legs and everyday life. Each plank measures 182mm by 1220mm, and a pack covers 2.22 m². The Hydro Pro range is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it is built to handle busy family homes as well as shops and offices.

Where it works

Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Arctic Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. For stairs, fit stair nosing to protect and finish each step edge. See the rest of our plank click LVT floors for other colours.

Fitting and underfloor heating

The planks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. Arctic Oak is suitable for underfloor heating; see more floors for underfloor heating if you want to compare. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
