Click LVT planks: waterproof, wood-effect vinyl boards that lock together and float without glue. A practical, good-looking choice for kitchens, bathrooms, family rooms and homes with pets, and one of the most DIY-friendly floors available.
Yes. Luxury vinyl tiles and planks are made from vinyl layers, so the boards themselves are not damaged by water. That makes them a good choice for bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms. Seal the edges with a suitable sealant in bathrooms and wipe up standing water, so it cannot get beneath the floor.
A 4V bevel is a clear V-shaped groove on all four edges, so each board stands out as an individual plank, much like real timber. A micro bevel is a much smaller chamfer that gives a smoother, more continuous surface. It is a matter of taste: 4V looks more like wood, micro bevel looks cleaner.
Yes. Click LVT is one of the most DIY-friendly floors. It cuts with a sharp utility knife: score and snap. The boards lock together without glue. The key is a flat, clean subfloor, as vinyl will show bumps more than laminate. Leave a small expansion gap at the walls.
LVT feels warmer and softer than ceramic tile and is quieter than laminate, which is why it is popular in bathrooms and kitchens. It also works with many underfloor heating systems, and around half of our click LVT planks are confirmed for underfloor heating in their specification.
Every plank in this collection shares one format: 182mm wide by 1220mm long. That keeps things simple, and the real choice comes down to colour and to which of the two specifications you pick.
About half the planks are 6.5mm thick with a 0.5mm wear layer and a micro-bevelled edge that gives a smooth, near-seamless surface. The rest are 6mm with a 0.3mm wear layer and a 4V bevel that outlines each board. The thicker wear layer is the one to choose for busy hallways, large dogs and light commercial areas; 0.3mm is ample for bedrooms and living rooms.
Colours are all oak effects, from white-washed and ivory tones through natural and honey oaks to grey and darker shades. Around half the planks are confirmed for underfloor heating in their spec. Because the boards are waterproof, they suit bathrooms and utility rooms as well as kitchens.
