Autumn Oak Chevron Glue Down LVT

Autumn Oak Chevron is a warm, medium brown oak effect with angled ends that meet in a continuous V, in 3mm glue-down LVT. It gives a room a smart, directional pattern in waterproof vinyl.

Look and character

Rich brown tones suit the name, warm and comfortable, with enough depth to make the chevron read clearly. Unlike herringbone, where blocks overlap in a zigzag, chevron points line up into clean arrows that lead the eye across the floor, so it works well down a hallway or along the length of a room. The wide planks give a bold, well-proportioned pattern.

Construction and specification

Planks are 158mm wide and 710mm long, with angled ends so they meet in a continuous point. Packs cover 3.37 m² each; enter your room measurements in the calculator to see how many you need. Each plank is 3mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. Its wear layer measures 0.7mm. That transparent top layer protects the decorative print, and a thicker wear layer generally means a longer-lasting surface. Luxury vinyl like this is waterproof, and gluing it down gives a firm, solid feel underfoot. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings.

Where it works

Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. Chevron is especially effective in hallways and long rooms, where the points lead the eye. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the planks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. The subfloor needs to be smooth, level and dry first, as a thin vinyl will show any bumps beneath it; a levelling compound or ply overlay is usual. Order about 10% more than your measured area; the angled cuts at the walls use up extra planks. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
