Lakeside Oak Herringbone Click LVT

Lakeside Oak is a calm, mid-grey herringbone in the slim 5mm Hydro Pro build. The 126mm by 610mm click vinyl blocks give a quiet, relaxed take on parquet, and the waterproof surface suits kitchens, bathrooms and busy hallways.

Look and character

Lakeside has a gentle, muted grey tone that sits quietly in the room rather than demanding attention. The herringbone pattern adds movement to that calm colour, and the textured and embossed finish gives a grain you can feel. With a 4V bevel on each block, the zigzag is clearly defined. It is an easy colour to coordinate with both traditional and contemporary schemes, from pale sage walls to white shaker kitchens.

Construction and specification

The numbers behind Lakeside Oak: 5mm total thickness, a 0.3mm wear layer, and blocks of 126mm by 610mm. That wear layer is the tough transparent top coat protecting the print, and it is what keeps the colour looking fresh under heavy foot traffic. Under it sits a waterproof vinyl core, so a spilled drink or a splash from the bath won't make the boards swell the way wood or laminate can. Each pack covers 3.074 m², and the floor is rated for both domestic and commercial use.

Where it works

This is a floor for the whole house. The waterproof build handles bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories, while living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways benefit from its hard-wearing surface. On stairs, pair it with stair nosing for a finished edge. More options sit in our range of herringbone click LVT floors.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Lakeside Oak clicks together block by block over a flat, clean and dry subfloor, so fitting is quicker and tidier than with a traditional floor. Herringbone needs a little more planning than straight planks, so set out a straight guide line and dry-lay a few rows first. Lakeside Oak is suitable for underfloor heating; see more floors for underfloor heating if you want to compare. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
