Malmo Oak Herringbone Click LVT

Malmo Oak is a light, natural oak herringbone with a clean Scandinavian feel. The 126mm Hydro Pro click vinyl blocks give a simple, bright parquet floor that is waterproof and suitable for underfloor heating.

Look and character

Malmo has the pale, natural oak colour associated with Scandinavian interiors, light and fresh with gentle grain. In herringbone it adds pattern without adding weight, which keeps small rooms feeling open. The textured and embossed surface gives a natural grain feel, and each block has a 4V bevel. Pair it with white walls, simple furniture, soft wool textiles and black or brass accents.

Construction and specification

This is waterproof click vinyl, 6mm thick with a 0.3mm wear layer protecting the printed surface. In plain terms, the wear layer is the clear shield that takes daily wear, so the grain print underneath stays crisp. The blocks are 126mm wide and 610mm long, and one pack covers 2.4596 m². Because it carries a domestic and commercial rating, it copes with hallways, family kitchens and light commercial settings.

Where it works

Because it is waterproof, Malmo Oak can go in every room on the list: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens, conservatories and bathrooms. That lets you run one floor through the ground floor without the colour changing at each doorway. It can also continue up the stairs, finished with matching stair nosing on each tread. Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting is by click system: the blocks lock together along their edges, which makes it a manageable job for a confident DIYer as well as a professional fitter. With herringbone, the layout starts from a guide line down the room, so it is worth planning where the pattern will fall before you begin. Add about 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste.
