Slate Tile Effect Glue Down LVT

Slate is a dark grey stone-effect tile made from glue-down LVT. It gives the deep, natural look of slate in a waterproof vinyl that is warmer underfoot than natural stone.

Look and character

Deep grey tones create a strong, grounded floor that contrasts well with white units, pale walls and wooden worktops. It suits kitchens and utility rooms in both country and modern homes, and bathrooms where a darker floor adds drama. The rectangular tiles give a contemporary proportion.

Construction and specification

Each tile is 305mm by 609.6mm, a classic large rectangular tile proportion. At 2.5mm thick, the floor adds very little height, which helps where door clearances or the level of the next room matter. The 0.55mm wear layer is the working surface of the floor: the part that meets feet, furniture and the mop. Rated for homes and commercial spaces alike, it is made for regular foot traffic. One pack covers 2.97 m².

Fitting and underfloor heating

Every tile is glued to the subfloor, which gives a firm, stable floor that stays put. Good preparation matters: a flat, clean, dry subfloor gives the best result, as the thin vinyl follows whatever is underneath. Order about 10% more than your measured area to cover cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
