Barnhouse Oak Click LVT

Barnhouse Oak is a weathered, mid-brown vinyl plank that takes its cue from old reclaimed barn timber. At 182mm wide and 1220mm long, it gives a relaxed, rustic floor with the practical benefits of waterproof click LVT.

Look and character

The brown tones are warm and slightly worn-looking, with strong grain patterns that give each plank some movement. It is one of the more rustic-feeling colours in the Icona plank range, so it works well in cottages, farmhouse kitchens and rooms with exposed brick or beams. The textured and embossed surface adds a grain you can feel, and a micro bevel on the edges gives a soft line between planks without deep grooves to catch crumbs. Team it with cream, sage or terracotta walls and plenty of natural textures.

Construction and specification

Barnhouse Oak is 6.5mm thick overall, with a 0.5mm wear layer on top. The wear layer is the clear, protective film over the printed design, and it is the part that takes the scuffs from shoes, chair legs and everyday life. Each plank measures 182mm by 1220mm, and a pack covers 1.776 m². The Icona Plank range is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it is built to handle busy family homes as well as shops and offices.

Where it works

Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Barnhouse Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. Fitting and underfloor heating

The planks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
