Coastal Grey Oak Click LVT

Coastal Grey Oak is a soft, mid-grey vinyl plank with the easy, washed look of seaside timber. It comes in 182mm wide Icona click boards, and being waterproof it can go from the front door to the bathroom.

Look and character

The grey is soft rather than stark, with subtle grain running along each plank to keep it natural. It sits well in coastal-style rooms with white panelling and blue accents, but it is just as happy in a minimal modern home with black fittings and concrete-look tiles. The textured and embossed surface adds a grain you can feel, and micro-bevelled edges give a gentle line between boards.

Construction and specification

Each plank is 182mm by 1220mm and 6.5mm thick, and you get 1.776 m² in a pack. On top of the printed design sits a 0.5mm wear layer: a clear, hard-wearing coat that guards the colour against scratches and scuffs. The core is waterproof vinyl, which won't swell if it gets wet, and the Icona Plank range is rated for domestic and commercial traffic.

Where it works

Because it is waterproof, Coastal Grey Oak can go in every room on the list: living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens, conservatories and bathrooms. That lets you run one floor through the ground floor without the colour changing at each doorway. It can also continue up the stairs, finished with matching stair nosing on each tread. Compare it with our other plank click LVT floors before you decide.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Fitting is by click system: the planks lock together along their edges, which makes it a manageable job for a confident DIYer as well as a professional fitter. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.

Why order a large free sample

Seeing a floor in person beats any photo. A large free sample of Coastal Grey Oak lets you check the colour, texture and finish at home, and you can add up to 3 large free samples. When you are ready, our best price promise and 30-day returns make the next step simple.
