Portland Grey Oak Click LVT

Portland Grey Oak is a cool, mid-grey vinyl plank with hints of weathered grain. The 182mm wide Icona click boards give a versatile floor that pairs with traditional and contemporary rooms, and the waterproof build handles kitchens and bathrooms.

Look and character

The grey is cool and grounded, and the weathered grain detail adds a touch of age that stops it feeling too sleek. That balance makes it easy to use with both shaker kitchens and modern handleless units. Texture is embossed into the surface, and a micro bevel softens the joins between the long 1220mm planks. Pair it with white, charcoal or deep blue walls and chrome or black hardware.

Construction and specification

The numbers behind Portland Grey Oak: 6.5mm total thickness, a 0.5mm wear layer, and planks of 182mm by 1220mm. That wear layer is the tough transparent top coat protecting the print, and it is what keeps the colour looking fresh under heavy foot traffic. Under it sits a waterproof vinyl core, so a spilled drink or a splash from the bath won't make the boards swell the way wood or laminate can. Each pack covers 1.776 m², and the floor is rated for both domestic and commercial use.

Where it works

This is a floor for the whole house. The waterproof build handles bathrooms, kitchens and conservatories, while living rooms, bedrooms and hallways benefit from its hard-wearing surface. More options sit in our range of plank click LVT floors.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Portland Grey Oak clicks together plank by plank over a flat, clean and dry subfloor, so fitting is quicker and tidier than with a traditional floor. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.
