Description
Vintage Oak is a warm, mid-brown vinyl plank with a softly weathered look. The 182mm wide Icona click boards carry intricate grain detail, giving a classic, rustic floor that adds character to traditional and modern homes.
Look and character
Warm natural oak tones are gently aged across each plank, with detailed grain that adds movement and interest. The result feels relaxed and familiar, like a well-used oak floor, but with the easy cleaning of vinyl. The textured and embossed surface adds a tactile grain, and micro-bevelled edges keep the joins neat along the long 1220mm boards. Pair it with cream and warm grey walls, painted cabinetry, and iron or brass hardware.
Construction and specification
Each plank is 182mm by 1220mm and 6.5mm thick, and you get 1.776 m² in a pack. On top of the printed design sits a 0.5mm wear layer: a clear, hard-wearing coat that guards the colour against scratches and scuffs. The core is waterproof vinyl, which won't swell if it gets wet, and the Icona Plank range is rated for domestic and commercial traffic.
Where it works
Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Vintage Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. For stairs, fit stair nosing to protect and finish each step edge. See the rest of our plank click LVT floors for other colours.
Fitting and underfloor heating
The planks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Our team can advise on a suitable flooring underlay for your subfloor. Order around 10% more than your room size to cover cuts and waste.
Why order a large free sample
A sample is the easiest way to be sure. Put Vintage Oak next to your skirting, units and sofa, and check it morning and evening. We send up to 3 large free samples, and you are welcome to call 0121 274 8575 with any questions.
