Ivory Washed Oak gives natural oak a soft, creamy wash for a bright and gentle floor. It is a 190mm Nevada engineered plank, 1900mm long, with a brushed surface sealed under lacquer.
The wash lightens the oak towards ivory, a warmer white than a stark bleached look, while leaving the grain visible underneath. Brushing opens that grain slightly, so the pale colour has texture and depth rather than looking flat. The lacquer adds a soft sheen and makes the light surface easier to keep clean. Classic grade oak brings small knots and subtle variation. It is a natural fit for Scandinavian, coastal and minimalist rooms, and it keeps smaller spaces feeling open.
The board is 14mm thick overall, and the top 3mm is real oak. Under the face is a cross-bonded multi-ply core, which is what lets an engineered plank cope with central heating better than a solid board of the same size. Planks measure 190mm wide by 1900mm long, and each pack covers 2.888 m². The 4V bevel runs round every edge, adding definition and a slightly more rustic, board-by-board look. Lacquer sits on the surface as a protective film, which makes it an easy floor to keep clean day to day.
It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and it can also be used in kitchens and conservatories. For stairs, pair it with stair nosing so each step has a clean, safe edge. Pale floors bounce light around, so it is a good pick for smaller or north-facing rooms.
It is a tongue and groove board that can be glued down or floated over underlay, depending on your subfloor. Use scotia beading along the skirting to cover the small gap the floor needs to move. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste.
