Natural Lacquered Oak 90mm Solid Plank

This Natural Lacquered Oak plank is the slimmest of the three widths at 90mm, for a neat, traditional strip-style floor. It is 18mm solid oak throughout, sealed with a clear lacquer for a smooth, protected surface.

Look and character

Narrow boards create more lines across the room, a look that suits Victorian and Edwardian homes, cottages and smaller rooms where wide planks can feel oversized. The oak keeps its natural medium tone and Classic grade character, with grain variation and some knots. Lacquer sits on top as a clear protective layer, so the floor is easy to clean and resists everyday scuffs. Each board has a 4V bevel for a crisp outline.

Construction and specification

What you are buying is 18mm solid oak, 90mm wide in random lengths. Solid boards are the long-term option: sand them back and refinish them, and a tired floor can look fresh again, with more scope for that than an engineered floor offers. Packs cover 1.08 m², and each plank has a 4V bevel on all four edges.

Fitting

It can be laid tongue and groove, glued down or nailed down to a sound subfloor. Add around 10% to your order for cuts and waste, and trim the perimeter with scotia beading.
