Construction and specification

Why choose solid over engineered? With Golden Oak Hand Scraped, the whole 18mm thickness is oak, so the wearing surface is not limited to a thin top layer. Years down the line, a professional sand and refinish can take the floor back to fresh timber, and that can be repeated more times than on an engineered board. Size-wise, the planks are 125mm wide in random lengths, and one pack covers 1.2 m².

Fitting

It can be laid tongue and groove, glued down or nailed down to a sound subfloor. Add around 10% to your order for cuts and waste, and trim the perimeter with scotia beading.
