West Coast Oak Herringbone Click LVT

West Coast Oak is a dark grey herringbone with a relaxed, coastal-inspired character. The 126mm Hydro Pro click vinyl blocks bring depth to the parquet pattern, and the waterproof surface suits kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.

Look and character

The deep grey recalls weathered, sea-worn timber, dark enough to ground a room while still looking relaxed rather than formal. Against it, white walls, pale furniture and natural textures stand out clearly. The textured and embossed surface adds grain you can feel, and 4V bevels trace each block so the zigzag stays visible in the darker tone. It works well in larger rooms and spaces with good daylight.

Construction and specification

West Coast Oak is built as 6mm waterproof luxury vinyl with a 0.3mm wear layer. Think of the wear layer as the floor's armour: a transparent coat over the print that takes the knocks of daily life. The blocks measure 126mm by 610mm, with 2.4596 m² per pack, and the floor carries a domestic and commercial rating, so a busy kitchen or hallway is well within its comfort zone.

Where it works

Use West Coast Oak in hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, and carry it on into the kitchen, bathroom or conservatory without worrying about spills or splashes. It suits stairs too; add stair nosing for a neat, safe edge on every tread. If you are still weighing up colours, browse all our herringbone click LVT floors.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is by click fitting, over a subfloor that is flat, clean and dry. Herringbone needs a little more planning than straight planks, so set out a straight guide line and dry-lay a few rows first. West Coast Oak is suitable for underfloor heating; see more floors for underfloor heating if you want to compare. Ask us which flooring underlay, if any, is right for your subfloor before you order. Remember to allow roughly 10% extra for cutting and waste.

Why order a large free sample

Seeing a floor in person beats any photo. A large free sample of West Coast Oak lets you check the colour, texture and finish at home, and you can add up to 3 large free samples. When you are ready, our best price promise and 30-day returns make the next step simple.
