Arctic Oak Herringbone Click LVT

Arctic Oak is one of the lightest colours in our Hydro Pro herringbone range: a crisp, white-toned oak effect laid as a 126mm click vinyl block. It gives the classic zigzag a clean, fresh look, and because it is waterproof LVT it can run from the hallway right through to the kitchen and bathroom.

Look and character

The colour reads as a soft white over a gentle oak grain, with only light variation from block to block, so the floor looks calm rather than busy. In a herringbone layout that pale tone lets the pattern show through shadow and texture instead of strong contrast. The textured and embossed surface adds a wood-grain feel underfoot, and the 4V bevel outlines every block with a fine groove that keeps the zigzag crisp. It brightens rooms with little natural light and suits white kitchens, pale timber furniture and Scandinavian-style schemes.

Construction and specification

Arctic Oak is 6mm thick overall, with a 0.3mm wear layer on top. The wear layer is the clear, protective film over the printed design, and it is the part that takes the scuffs from shoes, chair legs and everyday life. Each block measures 126mm by 610mm, and a pack covers 2.4596 m². The Hydro Pro range is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it is built to handle busy family homes as well as shops and offices.

Where it works

Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Arctic Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. Fitting and underfloor heating

The blocks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. Herringbone needs a little more planning than straight planks, so set out a straight guide line and dry-lay a few rows first.
