Aragon Oak Glue Down LVT

Aragon Oak is a mid-brown oak-effect plank in the Bond glue-down range, for anyone who wants a warm wood look that sits between pale and dark. The waterproof vinyl is bonded to the subfloor, and it is suitable for underfloor heating.

Look and character

Its medium brown colour is an easy, familiar wood tone: warm enough for a living room, neutral enough to sit with most kitchens and paint colours. The printed grain gives each plank natural-looking movement, and the embossed finish adds a light surface texture so the floor doesn't look flat. In long, narrow planks the colour runs down the room in clean lines, a good middle ground if light oak feels too pale and a very dark floor feels too heavy.

Construction and specification

Planks are 187mm wide and 1227mm long, a classic proportion that gives long, clean lines down the room. Each pack covers 3.671 m², and the calculator on this page turns your room size into packs. A 2.5mm build keeps the finished floor low, so it rarely means trimming doors or raising thresholds. It is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it can handle busy family life as well as commercial spaces.

Where it works

Straight planks are simple to lay out and suit open-plan spaces where one floor links several areas. Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. Being waterproof, it copes with the splashes of a family bathroom and the spills of a busy kitchen. See our full range of glue-down LVT flooring to compare colours.

Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the planks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. This floor is suitable for underfloor heating.
