Quayside Umber Oak is a soft, light brown herringbone with gentle umber hues. Printed on 135mm Icona click vinyl blocks, it gives a subtle, warm parquet floor that is waterproof and suits kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces.
Umber is an earthy brown pigment, and here it is used lightly, giving a soft brown with delicate grain detail rather than a heavy, dark floor. The effect is warm and versatile, a foundation that works with contemporary and classic interiors alike. The embossed surface adds texture that follows the grain, and each block has a 4V bevel for a clear outline. It pairs well with warm whites, clay and terracotta tones, and natural wood or cane furniture.
Each block is 135mm by 540mm and 6.5mm thick, and you get 1.166 m² in a pack. On top of the printed design sits a 0.5mm wear layer: a clear, hard-wearing coat that guards the colour against scratches and scuffs. The core is waterproof vinyl, which won't swell if it gets wet, and the Icona Herringbone range is rated for domestic and commercial traffic.
Kitchens and bathrooms are where waterproof vinyl earns its keep, and Quayside Umber Oak is at home in both. It also suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and conservatories, where the textured surface is comfortable underfoot. For stairs, fit stair nosing to protect and finish each step edge. See the rest of our herringbone click LVT floors for other colours.
The blocks join with a click-lock profile, so there is nothing to mix or wait for, and the room can be back in use soon after fitting. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Our team can advise on a suitable flooring underlay for your subfloor. Order around 10% more than your room size to cover cuts and waste.
Colour on a screen is never quite the same as colour on your floor, so order a large free sample of Quayside Umber Oak and look at it in daylight and under your own lamps. You can have up to 3 large free samples, which makes it easy to compare shades side by side.
