Bronde Oak Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Bronde Oak Herringbone lays a mid, beige-leaning oak effect in large blocks, for a bold, generous herringbone in glue-down LVT. The 3mm vinyl is waterproof.

Look and character

Big blocks change the character of herringbone: instead of a busy, fine pattern you get broad, confident zigzags that suit larger rooms and open-plan spaces. The balanced colour, between blonde and brown, keeps the pattern easy to decorate around. Beige undertones make it warm, and it pairs well with natural textures and mid-toned timber.

Construction and specification

Each block is 3mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. At 3mm it is slightly more substantial than many thin glue-down vinyls. A 0.7mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. Its domestic and commercial rating means it is built for more than light use. Each block measures 150 x 750mm, much bigger than traditional parquet, which suits larger rooms. One pack covers 3.6 m².

Where it works

In a big kitchen-diner the broad zigzag gives structure without clutter. From the hallway and living room to the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, dining room and conservatory, it is at home in almost every room. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. Compare other colours in our herringbone glue-down LVT collection.

Fitting and underfloor heating

This floor is fitted glue down: each block is bonded to the subfloor with a suitable flooring adhesive. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste, as the herringbone needs careful set-out and edge cuts. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
