Caramel Smoked Oak 260mm Engineered Plank

Caramel Smoked Oak is one of our widest planks: a 260mm Nevada XL board in a rich, warm brown with golden caramel undertones. Long 2200mm lengths and a smoked, oiled finish bring out the natural oak grain, creating a floor with depth and character on a large scale.

Look and character

The colour sits between golden brown and deeper caramel, with darker grain patterns running through the oak. The smoked tone gives it more depth than a typical natural oak floor, while the warm undertones keep it from feeling too dark or heavy. Its pronounced grain and natural markings give each board its own character, adding visual interest without relying on a uniform, flat colour. At this width, the grain has plenty of room to run, with fewer joints across the room. It is well suited to large living spaces, open-plan kitchens and interiors where you want a warm, established oak look.

Construction and specification

Each pack covers 2.86 m² of 260mm wide planks, each 2200mm in length. A 15mm overall board thickness, including a 4mm real oak top layer, combines the appearance of solid oak with the stability of a multi-ply core. The smoked, oiled finish enhances the depth of the wood and gives it a natural appearance.

Caramel Smoked Oak suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, particularly where warm wood tones complement neutral walls, natural materials and deeper interior colours. Its rich brown finish also creates a striking contrast against lighter furniture and soft furnishings. The same boards can continue onto the stairs, with stair nosing to finish each step.

Fitting and underfloor heating

You can glue it down or lay it floating; the tongue and groove edges join each board to the next. For a floating installation, choose a flooring underlay that matches your subfloor.
