Hadley Fine Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Hadley Fine Herringbone sets a medium brown oak effect into narrow blocks, creating a warm, detailed parquet floor in waterproof glue-down vinyl. It is a good middle ground between pale and dark herringbone.

Look and character

Medium brown gives the pattern warmth and a traditional feel, with enough depth for the zigzag to read clearly. The slim, long blocks create a fine herringbone that looks more intricate than standard parquet. It sits well with cream and warm white walls, dark wood furniture and brass details, and it disguises everyday marks better than a very pale floor.

Construction and specification

A 2.5mm build keeps the finished floor low, so it rarely means trimming doors or raising thresholds. On top sits a 0.55mm wear layer, the clear protective surface that takes the scuffs of shoes, chair legs and daily cleaning and protects the printed design below. Rated for homes and commercial spaces alike, it is made for regular foot traffic. Blocks are 76mm wide and 457.2mm long, a slim, elongated shape that gives a fine herringbone. One pack covers 3.34 m².

Where it works

Herringbone looks particularly good in hallways, where the pattern leads you through the house. You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the blocks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Order about 10% more than your measured area; the angled cuts at the walls use up extra blocks. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. Finish the room edges with skirting or beading for a tidy result. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
