Linton Fine Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Linton Fine Herringbone is a bright, natural oak-effect parquet floor made from slim LVT blocks. Glued down and waterproof, it brings a light herringbone to kitchens, bathrooms and hallways as well as living rooms.

Look and character

Light natural tones keep the finish open and fresh, and the fine pattern gives the floor a sense of detail and craft. The pattern is at its best in long spaces such as hallways, where the zigzag leads the eye through the house. Pale colours also help smaller rooms feel larger. It pairs easily with white walls, light timber and simple modern furniture.

Construction and specification

Each block is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. A 0.55mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. It is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it can handle busy family life as well as commercial spaces. Blocks are 76mm wide and 457.2mm long, a slim, elongated shape that gives a fine herringbone. Each pack covers 3.34 m², and the calculator on this page turns your room size into packs.

Where it works

Good places for it include hallways, kitchens, living rooms and dining rooms, as well as bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. Herringbone looks particularly good in hallways, where the pattern leads you through the house. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the blocks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Order about 10% more than your measured area; the angled cuts at the walls use up extra blocks. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. Glue-down LVT is best fitted by a professional who can prepare the subfloor properly. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
