Haze Oak Herringbone 12mm Laminate

Haze Oak Herringbone softens a mid-toned oak with gentle beige, giving a hazy, relaxed colour in a classic parquet layout. The 100mm blocks give a traditional pattern on a hard-wearing 12mm laminate.

Look and character

Brown and beige tones mix across the blocks, creating a muted, slightly softened oak colour that sits between natural and pale. It is warm without being orange, and calm without being grey. The herringbone adds movement, while the softer tone keeps the effect relaxed rather than dramatic. The textured and embossed surface adds grain you can feel. It works well with warm white, oatmeal and clay walls, rattan and wicker, and light or mid oak furniture.

Construction and specification

With a 12mm core, the floor has a sturdy, grounded feel that suits busy family rooms. At 100mm by 600mm, the blocks are proportioned like traditional parquet. The 4V bevel on every edge makes each block stand out slightly from its neighbours, which adds realism. Each pack covers 1.92 m² of floor. The AC4 rating means the surface is tested for heavy domestic traffic and general commercial use, so it copes well with hallways and family rooms.

Where it works

Use it in kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, conservatories, living rooms, dining rooms and bathrooms. Kitchens are fine as long as spills are wiped up quickly rather than left to sit on the joints. Taking it up the stairs? Finish each tread with stair nosing for a neat, safe edge. Compare other shades in our herringbone laminate range.

Fitting and underfloor heating

The blocks click together and are laid as a floating floor, so nothing is fixed down to the subfloor. Choose the right underlay for laminate for your subfloor; it evens out minor bumps and cuts down noise. Order about 10% more than the measured area, because the angled layout means extra cuts along each wall. The floor is suitable for use with underfloor heating, and you can compare more underfloor heating flooring in our range.
