Alicante Oak Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Pale beige herringbone in a small 95mm block: Alicante Oak Herringbone gives you a light parquet look in waterproof glue-down vinyl. It suits period homes and modern rooms alike, and it is suitable for underfloor heating.

Look and character

Soft beige tones and a light oak-effect grain keep this herringbone bright, so the zigzag adds interest without making the floor feel busy or dark. The small blocks create a fine, tight pattern that works well in hallways and compact rooms, where a larger plank can look out of scale. An embossed surface adds gentle texture to each block, catching the light slightly differently as the direction of the pattern changes.

Construction and specification

The 95 x 380mm blocks are small enough to keep the pattern fine in hallways and compact rooms. One pack covers 2.6 m². The overall thickness is 2.5mm. Glue-down vinyl stays close to the subfloor, so it sits neatly against neighbouring floors and under doors. Its wear layer measures 0.55mm. That transparent top layer protects the decorative print, and a thicker wear layer generally means a longer-lasting surface. Rated for homes and commercial spaces alike, it is made for regular foot traffic.

Where it works

You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. A herringbone floor gives a dining room or reception room a sense of occasion. As a waterproof floor, it handles spills, wet boots and bathroom splashes that a wood floor would not like. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the blocks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Good preparation matters: a flat, clean, dry subfloor gives the best result, as the thin vinyl follows whatever is underneath. Order about 10% more than your measured area; the angled cuts at the walls use up extra blocks. It can be used with underfloor heating, and you can compare other floors for underfloor heating too.
