Hartwell Fine Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Hartwell Fine Herringbone takes a light natural oak effect and lays it in long, slender blocks for a graceful parquet pattern. The blocks are waterproof glue-down LVT.

Look and character

Natural light-oak colouring gives a gentle warmth, and the fine herringbone adds interest without making a room feel busy. Each block has a long, narrow proportion, so the zigzag has a stretched, easy rhythm. It works in bedrooms and living rooms where you want a restful floor with a touch of detail, and pairs naturally with linen, wool and pale timber.

Construction and specification

At 76mm wide the blocks are narrower than standard parquet, and at 457.2mm long they give the zigzag a stretched rhythm. One pack covers 3.34 m². The overall thickness is 2.5mm. Glue-down vinyl stays close to the subfloor, so it sits neatly against neighbouring floors and under doors. A 0.7mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. It is a layered vinyl product rather than timber, with a waterproof build from top to bottom. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings.

Fitting and underfloor heating

It is a glue-down product, so the blocks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. We recommend an experienced floor fitter for glue-down vinyl. Patterned floors take more cutting at the edges, so add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
