Rustic Grey Oak 12mm Laminate

Rustic Grey Oak combines a mid-grey colour with a characterful oak grain in long 1375mm planks from our Premium range. It suits modern interiors that still want a hint of natural texture.

Look and character

The colour is a medium grey with a more pronounced, rustic-style grain than our plainer grey shades, so the floor has visible texture and variation. The 4V bevels add depth and make each long plank stand out, and the textured surface follows the grain for a more authentic finish. It works with contemporary kitchens, white or charcoal walls, black metal and reclaimed-style wood furniture, and suits industrial and Scandinavian-inspired homes alike.

Construction and specification

With a 12mm core, the floor has a sturdy, grounded feel that suits busy family rooms. It carries an AC5 abrasion rating. In plain terms, the surface is tested for heavy wear, so it is well suited to hallways, kitchens and homes with children and pets. All four edges carry a small 4V bevel, which outlines each plank and adds depth to the floor. Each pack covers 1.293 m² of floor. Plank size is 188mm wide by 1375mm long, which keeps the layout calm and uncluttered.

Where it works

Suitable rooms include living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, hallways, bedrooms, conservatories and bathrooms. In a kitchen, wipe up spills and standing water promptly, as you would with any laminate. It can also be used on stairs with suitable stair nosing to finish each step safely. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is click and floating, which means the planks join edge to edge and rest on an underlay instead of being stuck down. Lay it over a suitable flooring underlay, which smooths out small bumps and softens footfall noise. Allow roughly 10% extra on top of the floor area for cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating. Neat scotia beading around the skirting hides the expansion gap.
