Ash White Oak 12mm Laminate

Ash White Oak is a long, pale plank from our Premium laminate range. The 1375mm boards and whitened oak effect give a light, airy floor that makes a room feel wider, with a 12mm build and an AC5 rating for busy homes.

Look and character

This is a light oak effect with a white-washed tone and a soft, understated grain. The pattern is gentle rather than heavily marked, so the floor reads as calm and even from across the room. The textured surface follows the look of the grain and takes away the flat, printed look some laminates have, while the bevelled edges keep each long plank clearly defined. It suits both classic and modern rooms and works well with soft whites, stone colours and pale linen fabrics.

Construction and specification

The 12mm build has real body to it, so the floor feels steady when you walk across it and sounds less hollow once laid over a good underlay. An AC5 rating tells you the wear surface is made for heavy traffic, well beyond everyday domestic use, so busy areas of the home are no problem. Plank size is 188mm wide by 1375mm long, which keeps the layout calm and uncluttered. One pack covers 1.293 m². All four edges carry a small 4V bevel, which outlines each plank and adds depth to the floor.

Where it works

Use it in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, conservatories, kitchens and bathrooms. For kitchens, a quick wipe after spills keeps the joints in good order. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is click and floating, which means the planks join edge to edge and rest on an underlay instead of being stuck down. Lay it over a suitable flooring underlay, which smooths out small bumps and softens footfall noise. Remember to add around 10% to the measured area to cover cuts and waste.
