Natural Lacquered Oak 150mm Solid Plank

Natural Lacquered Oak in a 150mm width gives a broader, more spacious take on a classic oak floor. Each 18mm solid plank is sealed with lacquer, keeping the natural colour and giving a smooth, easy-care surface.

Look and character

The wider boards show more of each plank's grain, and with fewer joins the floor looks calm and open, especially in bigger rooms. The colour is a natural, medium oak, and the Classic grade brings natural knots and grain movement. The clear lacquer protects the surface from everyday wear and makes sweeping and mopping simple. A 4V bevel frames each plank. It works with both traditional and contemporary interiors, from painted panelling to sleek modern furniture.

Construction and specification

Why choose solid over engineered? With Natural Lacquered Oak, the whole 18mm thickness is oak, so the wearing surface is not limited to a thin top layer. Years down the line, a professional sand and refinish can take the floor back to fresh timber, and that can be repeated more times than on an engineered board. Size-wise, the planks are 150mm wide in random lengths, and one pack covers 1.08 m².

Where it works

Fitting

There are three ways to lay it: tongue and groove, glue down or nail down. Your fitter will choose based on the subfloor and the room. Allow roughly 10% extra for cuts and waste. Around the edges, scotia beading covers the expansion gap neatly. For underfloor heating, please check with us and we will confirm before you order.
