Blenheim Fine Herringbone Glue Down LVT

With its slim blocks and light natural oak colour, Blenheim Fine Herringbone suits period homes where a traditional parquet floor would feel right. It is made from 2.5mm waterproof vinyl, glued to the subfloor.

Look and character

The light tone keeps a traditional pattern feeling fresh rather than heavy. Narrow blocks set out a fine zigzag that has the look of a carefully laid parquet floor in a Georgian or Victorian house. Natural oak colouring means it sits well with painted skirting, fireplaces and classic furniture, and also with simpler modern pieces. It gives a hallway or reception room a sense of craft underfoot.

Construction and specification

Each block is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. A 0.7mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. Its domestic and commercial rating means it is built for more than light use. At 76mm wide the blocks are narrower than standard parquet, and at 457.2mm long they give the zigzag a stretched rhythm. Coverage is 3.34 m² per pack, which the calculator uses to round your order up to whole packs. The vinyl construction is waterproof, which is what makes it practical in kitchens and bathrooms.

Where it works

Herringbone looks particularly good in hallways, where the pattern leads you through the house. You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Fitting and underfloor heating

Installation is glue down only, with the blocks stuck directly to a prepared subfloor. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste, as the herringbone needs careful set-out and edge cuts. Before fitting, the subfloor should be smoothed and levelled so no lumps or joints show through. We recommend an experienced floor fitter for glue-down vinyl. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
