Claremont Fine Herringbone is a pale natural-oak parquet effect in slim waterproof LVT blocks, glued down for a firm floor. Its fine pattern adds detail to open-plan rooms and kitchens without darkening them.
The light natural tone gives an airy base, and the herringbone brings movement through the room as the blocks change direction. Because the blocks are narrow and long, the zigzag is finer than a classic parquet, so it looks crisp in a kitchen-diner where furniture and units cover much of the floor. It suits white and pale kitchens and pairs well with warm metal handles and timber worktops.
Blocks are 76mm wide and 457.2mm long, a slim, elongated shape that gives a fine herringbone. Each block is 2.5mm thick, a slim profile that suits renovations where floor height is tight. Its wear layer measures 0.7mm. That transparent top layer protects the decorative print, and a thicker wear layer generally means a longer-lasting surface. 0.7mm is a generous wear layer for glue-down LVT, useful in busy family homes and hallways. The durability rating covers both domestic and commercial settings. One pack covers 3.34 m².
You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Being waterproof, it copes with the splashes of a family bathroom and the spills of a busy kitchen. Herringbone looks particularly good in hallways, where the pattern leads you through the house. It is a glue-down product, so the blocks are fixed in place with adhesive rather than laid loose. Good preparation matters: a flat, clean, dry subfloor gives the best result, as the thin vinyl follows whatever is underneath. Patterned floors take more cutting at the edges, so add about 10% to your room size for cuts and waste. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
A large free sample lets you check the colour and texture in your own room before you buy; choose up to 3 large free samples. You are also welcome at our Halesowen showroom at 214a Dudley Road.
This product is fully bonded to the subfloor.
