Wren Fine Herringbone Glue Down LVT

Wren Fine Herringbone combines a mid beige oak effect with narrow blocks, for a soft, warm parquet floor in glue-down LVT. Its waterproof surface means the pattern can run from the hallway into the kitchen.

Look and character

The medium beige colour is warm and easy to decorate around, sitting between light natural oak and deeper browns. In fine herringbone the pattern gives texture and rhythm, and the long, slim blocks keep it refined rather than chunky. It suits relaxed, natural interiors with cream walls, woven textures and mid-toned timber furniture.

Construction and specification

Blocks are 76mm wide and 457.2mm long, a slim, elongated shape that gives a fine herringbone. One pack covers 3.34 m². The overall thickness is 2.5mm. Glue-down vinyl stays close to the subfloor, so it sits neatly against neighbouring floors and under doors. A 0.7mm clear wear layer shields the design underneath from everyday traffic. It is rated for domestic and commercial use, so it can handle busy family life as well as commercial spaces.

Where it works

You can use it through most of the house: living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. Water sits on the surface rather than soaking in, so wiping up spills is quick. A herringbone floor gives a dining room or reception room a sense of occasion. Fitting and underfloor heating

This floor is fitted glue down: each block is bonded to the subfloor with a suitable flooring adhesive. Allow about 10% extra for cuts and waste, as the herringbone needs careful set-out and edge cuts. Most fitters prepare the floor with a smoothing compound first, because glue-down vinyl follows the surface it is stuck to. Glue-down LVT is best fitted by a professional who can prepare the subfloor properly. It is suitable for underfloor heating.
