Natural Brushed Lacquered Oak pairs a warm, natural oak colour with a practical lacquered surface. The 125mm engineered boards come in random lengths, with light brushing for texture.

Look and character

The tone is a friendly mid natural oak, neither pale nor dark, with the grain clearly visible. Brushing opens that grain so the surface has a gentle, tactile feel, and the lacquer seals it with a soft sheen that is easy to wipe down. Narrow boards and staggered end joints give a traditional, detailed floor that suits smaller rooms, hallways and period homes. If you like the colour of natural oak but want a finish that copes with everyday spills more easily than oil, this is a sensible option.

Construction and specification

It comes 125mm wide in mixed lengths, packed to cover 1.8 m² per pack. A 2V bevel along the two long sides gives soft lines down the length of the floor without breaking it up at the ends. A 14/3mm build means 14mm in total, with 3mm of real oak forming the surface you walk on. A multi-ply core does the structural work, keeping movement low when the room warms up or cools down. The lacquer forms a sealed coat on top of the wood, so everyday spills wipe off and routine cleaning is simple.

Where it works

It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways, and it can also be used in kitchens and conservatories. Mid-tone oak sits comfortably with most wall colours and furniture, from white to deep green. For stairs, pair it with stair nosing so each step has a clean, safe edge.

Fitting and underfloor heating

This floor is suitable for underfloor heating, and you can compare it with the rest of our underfloor heating flooring. It is a tongue and groove board that can be glued down or floated over underlay, depending on your subfloor. Finish the room edges with scotia beading to cover the expansion gap. Order about 10% more than the floor area to cover cuts and waste.
