Boston Grey Oak is a soft mid-grey herringbone in Icona click vinyl, with delicate grain detail that stops the colour looking flat. The 135mm blocks give a classic parquet pattern, and the waterproof build lets you carry it into kitchens and bathrooms.
The grey is gentle rather than stark, with subtle undertones that shift slightly as daylight changes through the day. Grain lines are fine and clearly drawn, which adds depth when you look closely. Set in herringbone, the colour gives a tailored look that suits modern townhouses, grey or navy kitchens and chrome or black fittings. The 4V bevel frames every block, so the pattern stays sharp from across the room.
The numbers behind Boston Grey Oak: 6.5mm total thickness, a 0.5mm wear layer, and blocks of 135mm by 540mm. That wear layer is the tough transparent top coat protecting the print, and it is what keeps the colour looking fresh under heavy foot traffic. Under it sits a waterproof vinyl core, so a spilled drink or a splash from the bath won't make the boards swell the way wood or laminate can. Each pack covers 1.166 m², and the floor is rated for both domestic and commercial use.
Use Boston Grey Oak in hallways, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, and carry it on into the kitchen, bathroom or conservatory without worrying about spills or splashes. It suits stairs too; add stair nosing for a neat, safe edge on every tread. If you are still weighing up colours, browse all our herringbone click LVT floors.
Installation is by click fitting, over a subfloor that is flat, clean and dry. With herringbone, the layout starts from a guide line down the room, so it is worth planning where the pattern will fall before you begin. It is suitable for underfloor heating. The right underlay depends on the subfloor, so check with us before adding one to your basket. Add about 10% to your measured area for cuts and waste.
